Privacy Policy

It is our policy to safeguard, according to strict standards of security and confidentiality, any personally identifiable information our subscribers share with us, as outlined below. We limit the collection and use of this subscriber information to the minimum required to deliver the CatalogIt application (the “App”) to our subscribers. This includes advising our subscribers about our products, services, and other opportunities, and to administer our business. We permit only authorized employees, who are trained in the proper handling of customer information, to have access to subscriber information. Employees who violate our Privacy Policy will be subject to our normal disciplinary process. We do not reveal subscriber information to any external organization unless we have previously informed the subscriber in disclosures or agreements, have been authorized by the subscriber, or are required by law. We will always maintain control over the confidentiality of our subscriber information. Whenever we hire other organizations to provide support services, we require them to conform to our privacy standards and to allow us to audit them for compliance. We keep subscriber files complete, up-to-date, and accurate. We tell our subscribers how and where to conveniently access their account information (except when we’re prohibited by law) and how to notify us about errors, which we will promptly correct. We continuously assess ourselves to ensure that customer privacy is respected.

INFORMATION WE COLLECT

In order to use the App, you must first complete a registration form and provide a valid email address and a password. We use this information to create your unique account or grant you access to an existing account.  We use your email address for transactional communications with you regarding your account.  You may also opt-in to receive non-transactional information from us, such as our periodic newsletters.  It Unlimited, Inc. is the sole owner of the information collected by the App and www.catalogit.app  other than content you create or upload to the App.

SUBSCRIPTIONS

If you subscribe to the App, we request certain personally identifiable information from you - an email address- on our registration form. For paid subscriptions, you must also provide contact information (such as name and billing address) and financial information (such as a credit card number and expiration date). We use this information for billing purposes and to fulfill your service requests. If we have trouble processing a service request, we will use this information to contact you.

SURVEYS

From time to time we may provide you the opportunity to participate in surveys regarding the application and the service we offer. If you participate, we may request certain personally identifiable information from you. Participation in these surveys is completely voluntary and you, therefore, have a choice whether or not to disclose this information. The requested information typically includes contact information (such as name and address), and demographic information (such as zip code).

AGENTS

We use outside digital distribution companies or credit card processing companies to bill you for subscription services. These companies do not share, store or use personally identifiable information for any other purposes. Full name, billing address as well as contact phone number may be requested for billing purposes.

SERVICE-RELATED ANNOUNCEMENTS

We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance, we might send you an email. Generally, you may not opt-out of these communications, which are not promotional in nature. If you do not wish to receive them, you have the option to deactivate your account.

CUSTOMER SERVICE

Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide us, we will send you a “welcome” email when you create an account and to each user that you add to your account. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries and to manage your account. We will communicate with you by email or telephone, in accordance with your wishes.

PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

We do not share personally identifiable information with third parties for any uses unrelated to the professional management of your account.

LEGAL DISCLAIMER

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law, and when we believe that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or to comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on us.

LOG FILES

We gather certain information automatically and store it in log files. This information includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. It does not identify individual subscribers. We use this information in order to analyze trends, improve the service, to administer the site, to track subscribers’ movements around the site and to gather demographic information about our subscriber base as a whole.

We do not link this automatically-collected data to personally identifiable information.

COOKIES AND BEARER TOKENS

A cookie is a small text file that is stored on a user’s computer for record-keeping purposes. We use cookies on our website, www.catalogit.app, but we do not use cookies in the App.  We do not link the information we store in cookies to any personally identifiable information you submit while on our site.

A bearer token or bearer authentication is a form of security authentication. When you log in to the App with a valid email and password, our servers will generate a cryptic string, called a bearer token, which will be sent back to your device. As you use the App, your device will submit the bearer token back to our servers, which the servers understand essentially as, “give access to the bearer of this token if the token is still valid.”

We use cookies and bearer tokens for the purposes of authentication (you are who you say you are) and authorization (that you are authorized to access this content) only.  We do not use these mechanisms to personally identify you, profile you, or target you in any way.

LINKS TO OTHER SITES

The App contains links to websites that are not owned or controlled by It Unlimited, Inc., and It Unlimited, Inc. is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other websites. This privacy statement applies only to information collected by this App.

ACCESS TO PERSONALLY IDENTIFIABLE INFORMATION

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, or delete it by making the change on your “Settings” page in your account.

SECURITY

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as a credit card number) on our registration or order forms, or when you create, edit or view entries in the App, we encrypt that information using transport layer security (TLS). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure, however. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. If you have any questions about the security of the App or our website, www.catalogit.app, you can send your questions via email to us at info@catalogit.app.

BUSINESS TRANSITIONS

In the event It Unlimited, Inc. goes through a business transition, such as a merger, acquisition by another company, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your personally identifiable information will likely be among the assets transferred. You will be notified via email and prominent notice on our App for 30 days of any such change in ownership or control of your personal information.

CHANGES IN THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this privacy statement, and other places we deem appropriate so that you are aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it.  We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time, so please review it frequently. If we make material changes to this policy, we will notify you here, by email, or by means of a notice on the App and the home page of www.catalogit.app.
