We’re excited to introduce support for video! You can now view videos directly within the app, enriching the information you can capture about your objects, and providing a more efficient experience when using video. Whether it’s a video of how something works, a walkthrough of an exhibit, an interview, or other visual content, you can now seamlessly play back videos from within the CatalogIt app. This new feature is available now for all users!

CatalogIt supports a variety of existing video formats and denotes video with a play button overlaid on the video preview image. Clicking or tapping on the play button will open the video viewer. You can upload videos to your Entries using the “File” option from the orange "+" button and menu in the lower right corner. Existing videos already attached to your Entries have been transcoded and are ready for in-app viewing.
