Hello, CatalogIt Users
We’ve got a couple of exciting new features to tell you about in this newsletter- let us know what you think!
We’ve recently made some major enhancements to the Print and Print Labels features. They are both accessed from the Actions Menu (the three dots in the upper right corner), from the Thumbnail screen as well as from the individual Entry screen.
Print now works essentially like an ad-hoc report writer. You have options to customize to include just the primary image or all images, the common properties (including the description, dimensions and some basic information about its creation), all properties (which includes all fields where you’ve entered data), or custom properties (where you can choose from any of the fields you’ve used). We will be adding the ability to save and name your Print settings in the future.
With Print Labels, you also have the option to include any of the fields you’ve used, to include the primary image and to include a QR code for the entry. Label printing is still in its infancy and very much a work-in-progress, but we are pretty excited about how far it's come and wanted to bring it to your attention. In the future, you'll be able to choose from the standard Avery label sizes and layouts.
CatalogIt now has its own YouTube Channel! We’ve published a number of short videos on how to perform a variety of tasks in CatalogIt and will be adding many more. You can find it here: CatalogIt YouTube Channel. Take a look!
One of our favorite events is coming up soon- the California Indian Market, sponsored by the Tuolumne Band of Me-Wuk. The Market, which will be held on Saturday, May 19 under the oak trees on the grounds of the Black Oak Casino and Resort, features a number of outstanding Native American artists from California tribes who will be demonstrating and selling their work. The address is 19400 Tuolumne Road North, Tuolumne, CA 95379. It is well worth the drive!
Cheers,
The CatalogIt Team
